706 Mission Street/The Mexican Museum is a proposed 45-story, 510-ft, mixed-use luxury condo skyscraper currently under construction in SoMa’s Jessie Square, across the street from Yerba Buena Gardens and the Moscone Center. The tower is owned by Four Seasons development and will serve as a complement to the neighboring Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences on nearby Market Street.
 
The luxurious 146 private condo residences in the tower will be large and will range in size from 2,800 to over 4,000 square feet. The units are 3-4 bedrooms with access to a fitness center, lounge, private dining room and landscaped terrace on its 5th floor. Price start at $5.4 Million, at approximately $2,000 per square feet, and the tower will be managed by attentive Four Seasons staff.

Building Features

 
  • The building is a $500-million dollar development that will have 190 condominiums on the upper floors and a permanent home for the Mexican Museum on the bottom 4 floors. Per the developers, the building’s foundations will go right into bedrock.
  • Mexican architect Enrique Norten will lend his touch to the museum’s new 52,000 sq ft interiors, and Dutch-born Jan Hendrix will adorn its facade.
  • The museum will show permanent collections of Diego Rivera and Gustavo Montoya, over 15,000 pieces of art, 13 ‘double-height’ galleries, an amphitheatre; a 2-story gallery for large scale works; classrooms and an education center; a huge underground garage; a café, and a restaurant.
